A little about Carol

Carol Wilson began her career as a child actor, performing alongside the legendary Ken Dodd in his national stage show. She trained at RADA and LAMDA ( London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art) for both theatre and television.

In 1977, Carol took a remarkable turn in her career, becoming a Police Office in Liverpool. She served for eighteen years, ten of those as a detective with the CID, handling major crimes including murder and organised crime. After sustaining injuries in a serious car accident she retired from the force.

Returning to her passion, Carol re-entered the television and film industry as a talent manager and onset and private acting coach. She has coached a new generation of actors including Emmy, BAFTA and Golden Globe winers.

Her coaching credits span major networks and platforms including HBO ( Game of Thrones, Westworld), Fox (Salem), ABC (Once Upon a Time), BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Disney and multiple shows on Netflix and Nickelodeon.

Carol is also an accomplished TV & Film and theatre producer.  With her lifelong experience in the industry globally, she guides young actors and their families through it’s complexities, whilst building strong relationships with casting directors and production companies. 

Carol is passionate about championing regional and underrepresented talent in the creative industries and currently has three television projects in pre-production with her production company , WildRaff Productions
